Someone on Your List likes beer. Check this Post Twice!
Yay! Let the holiday fun begin! I am so excited to share the holidays with you all. There will be gift ideas, decorations and of course a lot of scrapbooking and crafting.
To kick it off, Do you need something fun and special for a beer drinker on your Christmas shopping list? I made this simple beer advent set for my husband.

It could easily be given as a gift to be opened the days after Christmas too!
There are many prepackaged sets out there. There are several online and even our local grocery store offered one. But... my husband likes a certain style of beer and I wanted him to like all of them. It is also cheaper to make your own. Win!
I went with mostly craft and local beers. There might also be a few hidden gems but that's top secret in case he reads this. :)

Many grocery stores and liquor stores will let you mix and match your own 6 pack or buy singles. For those that I couldn't buy as singles, I stashed them away for the holidays. It's not like they will go to waste. ;)
I put each bottle or can into a white paper lunch bag, and tied ribbon with a paper number to close them. He can open one each morning, put it in the fridge and drink it in the evening or whenever he wants one.
All the bags are placed in a large basket/tray we already had. A box lid or anything you have on hand could be used.
I had numbered tags and ribbon in my stash. Tags can be bought here. They even come with Jute so you don't need to buy the ribbon.
You can do any number of days that works for your timeframe and/or budget. Do what works for you!

Hint. Hint.
I buy cheap chocolate ones for the kids (Trader Joes has good Chocolate and they are under $1) and beer for the husband. I knew I wouldn't like the wine in a prepackaged wine advent and wowza they are expensive. So, this year, I bought 2-3 bottles of my favorite wine and some chocolate truffles from Trader Joe's that I'll enjoy through the season. Treat yourself too. Your worth it!

Also, tomorrow I'll be posting about the Jesse Tree Project we are doing along with our advent activities. It is easy to manage and layers in some extra meaning through the bustle of the holiday season.
